Production Operator (H/F/X)
Description
Our client, an internationally recognised player in advanced electronics for security and defence applications, is setting up a brand-new assembly site in Belgium dedicated to high-precision electro-optical systems, including next-generation thermal imaging devices. To support the start of production, they are looking for several versatile Production Operators ready to take part in a fast-growing industrial project. Working at the heart of production, you will take on different stages of the process depending on operational priorities. You will perform calibration and testing operations using dedicated equipment and documented methods, assemble the accessories, components and sub-assemblies that make up the final product kits, and carry out visual, optical and mechanical quality inspections to detect any deviation from specifications. You will also support packaging activities, from kit preparation to final packaging, including labelling and traceability checks. When a non-conformity arises, you will escalate it immediately and work alongside process and engineering teams on troubleshooting and continuous improvement. You will document your activities, complete checklists and contribute to updating work instructions, while maintaining order, cleanliness and 5S standards at your workstation in full compliance with safety and ESD rules. Trained across multiple workstations, you will contribute directly to product quality, traceability and production efficiency, and help set up a new site from its very beginning. Full training is provided. Our client offers a permanent contract with a competitive package, a 38-hour week on day shift only with flexible hours, continuous learning programmes, career development opportunities and a collaborative environment with strong international exposure.
