Prevention Advisor - Level 1
Description
An international industrial group, a recognised player in the agri-food processing sector (potato-based products), is looking for its future Level 1 Prevention Advisor. Bringing together more than 1,200 employees across two production sites and strongly export-oriented, this demanding, dynamic and highly innovative environment offers a stimulating setting for those who enjoy combining strategy with hands-on fieldwork. Reporting to and acting as a true partner to management, you play a key role in deploying the health and safety policy by engaging every level of the organisation, from leadership to shop-floor teams. Your mission spans strategy, field presence and continuous improvement: you advise management on all health and safety matters, drive the evolution of the safety culture, and maintain and improve the associated management system, with ISO 45001 certification as a target. On a daily basis, you lead risk assessments (workstations, equipment, processes, ergonomics, fire, psychosocial factors), support new projects and investments through a Design for Safety approach, and oversee the commissioning of machines, equipment and PPE. You ensure regulatory monitoring, lead internal and external audits, track safety KPIs, and run the secretariat of the Prevention Committee (agendas, meetings, minutes and reports). You are also responsible for emergency and evacuation plans, crisis preparedness, and the analysis of incidents and accidents. Genuinely people-oriented, you run safety meetings, toolbox talks and training sessions, coach managers and teams, and remain an accessible, visible point of reference in the field. You are also the key contact for external services (occupational health, authorities, insurers) and the safety liaison at group international level. You join a market-leading company, part of an international group, within a friendly and innovative team. The position offers genuine opportunities for training and career development, together with an attractive salary package complemented by competitive extra-legal benefits.
